You can with Riess's enamel sets. The soft yet distinctive look of enamel is a must for every beautiful kitchen. With this beautiful frying pan, you can prepare a delicious dinner in a stylish way. Enamel is nothing more than iron fused with silica-like glass at a temperature of 850 ° C. This fusion makes the surface very smooth, hard, and non-porous. It also gives the enamel its beautiful bright colors, giving your kitchen a unique look. The material also becomes scratch and cut-resistant, and metal oxides are minimally used. Enamel does not impart any odor to food. This way, the food retains its pure taste. The enamel also forms a perfect non-stick layer. You don't have to oil the pan constantly, and you can clean it with dish soap. Make sure the pan is well-protected when stored, as enamel can be quite fragile when stacking pans. Choose the correct diameter of the hob for your pots or pans to prevent energy loss. Never heat plates without contents and ensure that the liquid never completely evaporates. Otherwise, overheating may occur. Recommended maximum temperature for cooking and baking: 220°C. Cook with less heat than usual. Enamel conducts heat quickly to the base and walls. Your dishes will be cooked gently, ingredients will be preserved, and you will improve the taste experience. Moreover, you avoid the danger of burning, save electricity, and extend the shelf life of your dishes. Reduce the temperature over time and observe the cooking process. When cooking with hot fat/oil, there is a risk of ignition. Never leave small children unattended near the stove and hot cookware. Always handle enameled handles and lids with a dry oven cloth. The core is made of iron and heats up quickly. Most of our products have enameled handles and lids and can also be used in the oven. Enamel is very hard. However, impacts with hard objects, falling on hard floors, or forcefully tapping the rim with metal kitchen utensils can cause the glass surface to chip. If the enamel layer chips despite all carefulness, it is only visually unfortunate. The dishes can still be used. If the product chips on the inside, we recommend replacing the product, as optimal hygiene can no longer be guaranteed. CLEANING The glass surface of enamel not only inhibits bacteria but is also particularly easy to clean. Riess dinnerware is dishwasher safe - preferably in the gentle glass program. However, we recommend manual cleaning for a brilliant shine for the next generation. Manual cleaning Fill the still warm dishes with water after cooking and emptying the cookware. After a short time, soaked food residues can be easily removed. Extremely stubborn or burnt food residues can be cleaned by briefly boiling them with water and dish soap and then cleaning them with the smooth side of the cleaning sponge or a soft brush. Cleaning in the dishwasher Before putting the appliance away, remove all food or burnt items (see 'Manual cleaning') and rinse briefly with warm water. Use the gentle glass washing program. Cleaning tools and agents We recommend cleaning with abrasive creams and soft sponges or soft brushes. Avoid using overly harsh cleaning agents, such as wire brushes, steel wool, sand-based abrasives, and cleaning sponges with ceramic particles. These can scratch the surface. If scratches are made on the surface by incorrect cleaning tools, this will reduce the shine, but the dinnerware can still be used without hesitation. Black spots are often metal abrasions from stainless steel cutlery, which can be easily removed with a mild abrasive milk or our Riess enamel cleaner. Proper storage Store enameled dishes - like glass - well dried. Stains caused by hard water can be easily removed with vinegar water. INDUCTION COOKING The heat conductivity of Riess enamelware is extremely fast. Observe the following instructions to prevent overheating of dishes and food, which can even warp heavy pot and pan bases. Observe the instructions for use of the hob regarding the power of the switching stages. Here are some guidelines: Boiling water at 100 °C = 500 Watt - Frying at 180 °C = approx. 1,700 Watt Never heat empty cookware. Ensure that the diameter of the pot and the hob are as close as possible. Always start with a low power and gradually increase to the desired power. NEVER use the Boost function (except for large quantities of liquid (6 liters or more)). Always pay attention to the cooking process. The automatic shut-off of the temperature sensors often does not react quickly enough if the food heats up too quickly. Do not touch the glass-ceramic surface of the cooking zone after cooking. It can be very hot due to the heated bottom of the pot. Environmental information about Enamel Frying Pan - 20 cm Riess pans are produced sustainably. Enamel is nothing more than iron, which is fused with silicate glass at 850°C. The surface is very smooth and non-porous. This keeps the food clean and with pure aromas. An enamel pot is not only the first choice for anyone with a nickel allergy, but also the greenest way of cooking... Only natural "mineral raw materials" such as iron, quartz, clay, feldspar, borax, soda & potash, and the smallest amounts of metal oxides are used in production. There are no artificial elements, so enamel is 100% recyclable as scrap metal. The firing process results in the beautiful bright colors of the enamel, as well as the hard, non-porous, scratch and cut-resistant surface.
