This set of 10 pairs of sintered disc brake pads is suitable for Avid DB1/DB3 brakes. With Elvedes brake pads, you choose excellent value for money. The brake pads are made of different compounds, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. For dry conditions, organic brake pads are ideal, suitable for MTB, trekking, and road bikes. For wet conditions, sintered brake pads are ideal, suitable for MTB. For both wet and dry weather conditions, metallic carbon (semi-metallic) brake pads are ideal, suitable for e-bikes.

After installing new brake pads, it is important to bed them in, as this extends their lifespan. To bed in the brake pads, lightly pull the brake lever while riding, ensuring the brake pads contact the brake disc. Ride for about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake harder at the end to reduce the speed to approximately 5 kilometers per hour. Then slowly increase your speed while braking lightly. Repeat this process 10 to 12 times to ensure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
