After installing new brake pads, it is very important to bed them in, as this extends their lifespan.
Bedding in new disc brake pads significantly extends their lifespan! Keep the brake lever lightly pulled while riding and ensure the brake pads are touching the brake disc. Ride about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake harder at the end to reduce the speed to approximately 5 kilometers per hour. Then slowly increase speed while braking lightly. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
