After installing new brake pads, it is very important to bed them in, as this extends their lifespan.
Bedding in:
Bedding in new disc brake pads significantly extends their lifespan! Keep the brake lever slightly pulled while riding and ensure the brake pads make contact with the brake disc. Ride for approximately 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake harder at the end to reduce the speed to about 5 kilometers per hour. Then slowly increase the speed while braking lightly. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
