After installing new brake pads, it is important to bed them in for a longer lifespan. Keep the brake lever lightly applied while riding and ensure the brake pads make contact with the brake disc. Ride for about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake a bit harder at the end to reduce the speed to approximately 5 kilometers per hour. Then slowly increase the speed while braking lightly. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
