After installing the new brake pads, it is important to bed them in, as this extends their lifespan. Keep the brake lever lightly pulled while riding and ensure the brake pads are touching the disc. Ride for about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake a little harder at the end to reduce the speed to about 5 kilometers per hour. Then, you can slowly increase the speed while braking lightly. Repeat this process 10 to 12 times to ensure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
