After installing new brake pads, it is very important to bed them in, as this extends their lifespan.
How to improve the lifespan of your disc brake pads:
Keep the brake lever lightly engaged while riding and ensure that the brake pads touch the brake disc. Ride for approximately 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake a bit harder at the end to reduce your speed to around 5 kilometers per hour. Then slowly increase your speed while braking lightly. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
