- How to improve the lifespan of your disc brake pads:
- Keep the brake lever lightly pulled while riding and make sure the brake pads touch the brake disc.
- Ride for about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake harder at the end to reduce the speed to about 5 kilometers per hour.
- Then slowly increase speed while braking lightly.
- Repeat this 10 to 12 times to ensure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
