Description
The Shimano BR-M375, M415-M495, M515, M525, M575, C501, C601, C607 and Tektro Auriga (pro-(e-)comp), Draco, Orion, Aquila are disc brake pads suitable for various bicycles. These brake pads are made from different materials, including organic, sintered, and metallic carbon (semi-metallic). Organic brake pads are ideal for dry conditions and suitable for MTBs, trekking bikes, and road bikes. Sintered brake pads are ideal for wet conditions and suitable for MTBs. Metallic carbon brake pads offer good braking power in both wet and dry weather conditions and are suitable for e-bikes. After installing new brake pads, it's important to bed them in, which extends their lifespan. To bed in the brake pads, you should lightly hold the brake lever while riding and ensure the pads make contact with the disc. Ride approximately 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake a bit harder at the end to reduce your speed to about 5 kilometers per hour. Then, you can slowly increase your speed while lightly braking. Repeat this process 10 to 12 times to ensure the new brake pads are properly bedded in.
