Een gelige vacht, lange streep op de rug en zwart-witte manen: de knappe Fjord merrie beschikt over alle typische kenmerken van haar ras en staat er bijzonder mooi bij. Met haar geringe bouw komt ze ook op oneffen ondergrond veilig uit de hoeven. Geen wonder: ze komt uit het bergachtige Noorwegen.De vriendelijke Fjord merrie ziet er prachtig uit. Haar hoeven en snuit steken donkerbruin af tegen de rest van haar vacht, die opvallend geel van kleur is. Net als de Fjord ruin (apart verkrijgbaar) heeft ze die typische streep op haar rug. En natuurlijk beschikt ze ook over hét handelsmerk van alle fjordenpaarden: de tweekleurige manen. Ze is daar heel trots op, helemaal nu ze zijn geborsteld en rechtop staan. Hierdoor komt het haar heel goed tot zijn recht. Ziet ze er niet lieflijk uit?
