Lisa traint de Appaloosa's voor de komende wedstrijd. Toen Lisa een keertje bij de wei kwam, zag ze dat de merrie over hindernissen sprong. Eigenlijk was het de bedoeling van de Kramers om met haar aan het westernrijden te doen. Sindsdien traint ze heimelijk met de merrie. Het kleine gevlekte veulentje en de Appaloosa ruin kijken nieuwsgierig toe vanuit hun wei.
