De witte leeuwenmoeder met haar jongen van schleich® Wild Life is een bijzondere verschijning. Witte leeuwen zijn namelijk heel zeldzaam vanwege het ontbreken van kleurstoffen in hun vel en haren. In tegenstelling tot albino's hebben ze geen rode ogen. Deze leeuwen delen hun leefgebied met andere Afrikaanse leeuwen in de savanne, droge bossen en steppen. Ze jagen op antilopen, gazelles, gnoes, buffels en zebra's.
