Deze freehub-body is een reserveonderdeel voor het Shimano WH-R501-R wiel voor racefietsen. Hij wordt ook gebruikt in het WH-R501-A en WH-R501-30 achterwiel. De freehub is compatibel met 8- en 9-speed cassettes, evenals met 10-speed cassettes wanneer een 1 mm spacer wordt gebruikt. Let op: een 11-speed setup is alleen mogelijk met MTB-cassettes, niet met racecassettes. Dit is de complete freehub-body inclusief banjobout, afdichting voor de rechterzijde en ring.
