The new Shimano BR-C6000 can handle 30 kg more load (max 130 kg) than the old type of brakes, making them perfect for use on e-Bikes. They offer good controllability thanks to the improved linear braking characteristic. The large cooling disc ensures that the roller brake maintains its braking power even during heavy use, on heavily loaded or heavy electric bicycles. (It is only advised not to cycle in mountains or hills with long or steep descents)
The slimmed-down housing with a sleek design ensures that it fits any bicycle. Easy to maintain and low-maintenance, the closed housing prevents water and dirt from reaching the brake mechanism. Lubricating once a year with roller brake grease is usually sufficient. The Nexus BR-C6000 is therefore an ideal brake for any city or electric bicycle.
