The SLX M7000 is a Shimano rear derailleur, suitable for mountain bikes. It has been updated for 11-speed drivetrains and features SHIMANO SHADOW RD PLUS for improved chain stability and retention. This rear derailleur is rider-tuned for sharp and smooth shifting. Weighing 323 grams, it is also 20% lighter in shift operation. The new SHADOW design features an optimized slant angle for a stable gear position. The derailleur is efficient in shifting and ensures a smoother drivetrain. The derailleur pulley teeth have an efficient design and the derailleur is suitable for compatible HG-X 11-speed chains. The maximum cog size is 42T for 2x11-speed and 46T for 1x11-speed. The smallest cog size is 40T. The derailleur has a capacity of 41T and uses the top-normal spring type SHADOW RD+. The pulley cage is GS size and the derailleur pulley has 11T teeth.
