Ondertussen zijn er vele fietsmerken die gebruik maken van een Shimano-systeem, dat bekend staat om de hoge kwaliteit. Na langdurig gebruik gaan ook deze accu's echter achteruit; wanneer dat het geval is dan is dit een perfecte vervanger om weer volop te kunnen fietsen
