For the best grip, we always recommend combining a Tacx water bottle with a Tacx water bottle cage. 100% Biobased made from sugarcane This water bottle is made from 100% biobased material from sugarcane. From the residual material of sugarcane, polyethylene is extracted, which is used for our bottles. This process is much cleaner than conventional methods and has a nice additional benefit: while the sugarcane grows, it extracts CO2 from the air. Biodegradable This bottle is made of polyethylene with a bio-batch additive. This additive changes the molecular structure of the bottle. It has no effect on the use of the bottle until it ends up in a landfill or is left in the forest. At the right temperature, the biobatch is activated and the bottle decomposes into water, humus, and gas. The entire composting process takes approximately one to five years. In nature, this takes longer.
