Description
Deze mechanische schijfremset van Tektro is een uitstekende keuze voor mountainbikes. De set bestaat uit een remklauw met schijfremblokset en een remschijf met een diameter van 180 mm. De remklauw heeft verschillende eigenschappen, zoals automatische caliper centering en een kabelarm-as met kogellager. De remblokken (E10.11 pads, organic compound) zijn gemakkelijk vervangbaar en zorgen voor optimale remkracht. De rotor heeft een wave type design (TR160-1/TR180-1). De caliper is gemaakt van gegoten aluminium en heeft een zwarte geanodiseerde afwerking. Het gewicht van de remset is 206 gram. De set wordt geleverd in een plastic zak.

Let op: nieuwe remblokken hebben ongeveer 30-40 volledige stops nodig om hun optimale remkracht te bereiken. Dit proces wordt bedding-in genoemd. Nadat het inbedden voltooid is, kan het nodig zijn om de remblokken opnieuw af te stellen.
