This mechanical disc brake set from Tektro is an excellent choice for mountain bikes. The set consists of a caliper with disc brake pad set and a brake disc with a diameter of 180 mm. The caliper has several features, such as automatic caliper centering and a cable arm shaft with ball bearing. The brake pads (E10.11 pads, organic compound) are easily replaceable and ensure optimal braking power. The rotor has a wave type design (TR160-1/TR180-1). Note: new brake pads need approximately 30-40 full stops to reach their optimal braking power. This process is called bedding-in. After bedding-in is complete, it may be necessary to readjust the brake pads.
