Description
The BB0802A Tektro hydraulic disc brake RMTB is a hydraulic disc brake system that is easy to install, adjust, and maintain. The system features an open system with a dual piston and comes without a brake disc. The brake lever is made of aluminum and has a cast aluminum bracket. The reach of the brake is 86 - 90 mm (HD-M285) or 81-85 mm (HD-M286). The caliper has a forged aluminum housing, and caliper positioning is automatic via front and rear adapters. The caliper is finished in black. The brake pads are type E10.11 (organic compound) and are easy to replace. Metal Ceramic Compound brake pads are also optionally available. The system uses liquid, non-corrosive mineral oil and has excellent heat expansion properties. The weight of the brake is 285 grams for the front and 305 grams for the rear.
