Behind this is the proven Rapidfire Plus technology, with which up to three gear steps can be shifted down with one shift stroke, as well as the 2-Way Release function. This allows the release lever to be operated by pulling with the index finger or pushing with the thumb, thus releasing the low-friction Optislick cable in two directions. SL-M7000 is available in three versions - for left as 2/3x shifter (no mode converter necessary) and for right as 11-speed shifter.
