Hand wash it with some wool soap. Afterwards, let it dry flat, but don't forget to pull it into shape first. If you want to felt your knitted slippers, for example, wash them with wool soap in water warmer than 40-50 degrees. Then rub the surface and felt the wool together (called fulling).
