Our ingredients

To make our food, for a 12 kg bag, 10.6 kg of meat is dried so that it can be processed better into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for dogs.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffaloes. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich colour and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken, and turkey, which together provide a delicious taste and aroma to the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

To provide dogs with extra valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Not only are vegetables nutritious, but they also have other healthy properties. The crude fibre in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, contribute to digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruit to Yourdog, ensuring the dog receives all essential, natural antioxidants. Fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also contribute to fresh breath or maintaining healthy digestion. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants from Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, and algae, among other things, dates back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food is carefully selected for its positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed, or the breed group, ingredients are given extra attention. Breed-specific complaints can be alleviated by using herbs, roots, flowers, and plants.

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Ca de bou. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Ca de bou belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Ca de bou.

Chamomile

Chamomile is a genus from the composite family. Chamomile is widely cultivated in Hungary and Eastern Europe. It also grows wild throughout Europe. The name Chamomile comes from a Greek word meaning 'earth apple' and refers to its apple scent. Chamomile has an excellent reputation in natural medicine.
