The banana plant grows in tropical areas where the temperature does not drop below 10 degrees Celsius. There is even evidence that the banana was cultivated in New Guinea about 7,000 years ago. The name is derived from the word 'Obanaana' from the language of the Wolof people.

Bananas are rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C and B11 (folic acid) and the minerals potassium, magnesium, iron and zinc. The natural antioxidant, vitamin C, can strengthen immunity. Vitamin B11, or folic acid, can support the immune system and contribute to a well-functioning nervous system. It can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Potassium can also help lower blood pressure in dogs with high blood pressure, magnesium can help relax muscles and promote bone growth. Puppy, adult or senior?

Transition advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another feed brand, we advise you to follow these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After this, you can, at your discretion, start feeding 100% Yourdog Ciobanesc romanesc de bucovina dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog package, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loose in the bin, but to put the entire bag, which you close as tightly as possible, into the bin.
