Our ingredients

Puppy, adult, or senior?

To help you choose the right variant of our Montenegrin Mountain Hound dog food, you can use the following guidelines. If your Montenegrin Mountain Hound is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Montenegrin Mountain Hound older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Montenegrin Mountain Hound senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Feeding Advice

Transition Advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then, feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important to let the dog get used to this for two or three days as well. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Montenegrin Mountain Hound dog food.

Storage Advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the barrel, but to place the entire bag, which you close as tightly as possible, into the barrel.
