Our ingredients

To produce our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to process into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffaloes. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color, and it is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

Peppermint

Peppermint is a plant from the mint family. It is the plant that led to the creation of peppermints. Peppermint originated from a cross between water mint and spearmint. The plant was found in England in the seventeenth century in a field of mint plants. The plant is cultivated in England, France, China, Japan, and in North and South America.

Peppermint can be added to our dog food because it could make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific complaints related to the intestines and gallbladder. Preventing itching is also among the properties of the peppermint plant.

Peppermint can promote fresh breath. The mint in peppermint can have an anti-spasmodic effect on the intestine and promotes the flow of bile in the intestine. In addition, it can have an antiseptic effect.

Raspberries

The raspberry is a plant from the rose family and belongs to the genus Rubus. Raspberry cultivation dates back to the Middle Ages and naturally occurs throughout Europe.

The tomato is part of the nightshade family and comes from the tomato plant, originally from Mesoamerica. Small varieties were cultivated in Mesoamerica by the Aztecs and Mayans. In 1893, it was decided in America that the fruit should be considered a vegetable.

Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories, and have a high soluble fiber content which aids digestion. Tomatoes also contain lycopene, which gives them their red color. The redder a tomato is, the more lycopene it contains. Besides giving a tomato its red color, it is also known as a powerful antioxidant. Research has shown that lycopene can offer protection against cancer and can help with cardiovascular diseases, among other things. In addition, tomatoes contain a lot of vitamin C and vitamin A and B complexes, which can contribute to healthy skin and an improved immune system.

Puppy, adult, or senior?

To help you choose the right variant of our Curly Coated Retriever dog food, you can use the following guidelines. If your Curly Coated Retriever is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Curly Coated Retriever older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog Curly Coated Retriever senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

If your Curly Coated Retriever doesn't seem to like their Yourdog dog food, please contact us. We will help you analyze the problems. Feeding advice

Transition advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then, feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important to let the dog get used to this for two or three days again. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely transitioned to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Curly Coated Retriever dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the bin but to place the entire bag, which you seal as well as possible, into the bin.
