Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, so that it can be better processed into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for dogs.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich colour and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together create a delicious taste and aroma for the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle development and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

To provide dogs with extra valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables are not only nutritious but also have other healthy properties. The crude fibre in vegetables is good for the intestines and can contribute to digestion, among other things.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruit to Yourdog, so that the dog receives all essential, natural antioxidants. Fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also contribute to fresh breath or maintaining healthy digestion. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants and algae, among other things, dates back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food is carefully selected for its positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group, ingredients are given extra attention. Breed-specific complaints can be reduced by using herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Miniature Pinscher specific vegetables, herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Miniature Pinscher. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Miniature Pinscher belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Miniature Pinscher.

Basil

Basil is a genus from the mint family. The name comes from Ancient Greek, in which 'Obasileus' means king, so the alternative name is king's herb. It originally occurs between central Africa and Southeast Asia.

According to traditional medicine, basil was used as a treatment method for arthritis, bronchitis, colds, stomach ulcers, heart disease and abdominal pain, among other things. Research has shown that basil can have strong antioxidant, antiviral and antimicrobial properties. In addition, basil can promote digestion, help remove waste products and can have an antispasmodic and calming effect on the dog.

Spirulina

Spirulina is a nutritional supplement with an exceptionally high nutritional value, made from blue-green algae found in tropical and subtropical regions. It belongs to the microalgae family. Did you know that spirulina can be grown in space and consists of 60 to 70% protein?

It is rich in vitamins, including B12, minerals, such as calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium and potassium, and all essential amino acids. Spirulina can generally contribute to the health and well-being of the dog. In addition, it can contribute to supporting the immune system and promoting healthy skin and a shiny coat. The algae also have a detoxifying effect and promote digestion.

Mango

Mango belongs to the genus Mangifera and probably originated in northeastern India and Southeast Asia. It is a drupe with varying shapes and grows on a tree that can reach a height of 40 metres.

This delicious summer treat is packed with essential vitamins and minerals. For example, it contains vitamins A, B6, C and E, and is rich in potassium, beta-carotene and alpha-carotene. Furthermore, mango contains many healthy dietary fibres that contribute to strengthening the immune system and digestion. The natural antioxidant (vitamin C) contributes to supporting vital bodily functions. Vitamin A is full of beta-carotene, which can help maintain and improve eyesight.

We add mango to our dog food because it can positively contribute to supporting the dog's resistance and healthy digestion. In addition, mango can support the dog's eyesight.

Puppy, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Miniature Pinscher dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Miniature Pinscher is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Miniature Pinscher older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Miniature Pinscher senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Palatability guarantee

We are convinced of the quality of our food. Therefore, we give a palatability guarantee on all Yourdog packaging. If your Miniature Pinscher does not seem to like its Yourdog dog food, please contact us. We will help you analyse the problems. If we cannot find a solution together, you will get your money back.

Feeding advice

Transition advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we advise you to follow the following steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this for another two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After that, you can start feeding 100% Yourdog Miniature Pinscher dog food at your own discretion.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog package, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or container in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the container, but to put it in the container with the entire bag, which you then close as well as possible.
