Our ingredients

To make our food, for a 12 kg bag, 10.6 kg of meat is dried so that it can be better processed into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for dogs.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich colour, and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken, and turkey, which together provide a delicious taste and aroma for the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle development and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

To provide dogs with extra valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables are not only nutritious but also have other healthy properties. The crude fibre in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, contribute to digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruit to Yourdog, ensuring that dogs receive all essential, natural antioxidants. Fruit can be good for a dog's immune system, and it can also contribute to fresh breath or maintaining healthy digestion. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, and algae, among others, dates back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in a dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food is carefully selected for its positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed, or the breed group, certain ingredients are given extra attention. Breed-specific complaints can be reduced through the use of herbs, roots, flowers, and plants.

Foxhound-specific vegetables, herbs, and fruit

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Foxhound. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Foxhound belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Foxhound.

Blueberry

Blueberries belong to the heather family of plants and grow mainly in open forests in the Northern Hemisphere. The plant has been used for a long time in traditional European medicine and is known for its positive effects on gastrointestinal diseases and diabetes.
