Our Ingredients

To make our food, for a 12 kg bag, 10.6 kg of meat is dried so that it can be better processed into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use tomatoes at a culinary level; we consider tomatoes as a vegetable.

The redder a tomato is, the more lycopene it contains. In addition to giving a tomato its red color, it is also known as a powerful antioxidant. Puppy, Adult or Senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Yourdog Small Swiss Hound dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Small Swiss Hound is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Small Swiss Hound older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Small Swiss Hound Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Feeding Advice

Transition Advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another feed brand, we advise you to follow these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this for two or three more days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Small Swiss Hound dog food.

Storage Advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the bin, but to place the entire bag, which you seal as tightly as possible, into the bin.
