Our ingredients

To make our food; 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag so that it can be better processed into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables; fruit and herbs; Yourdog is a healthy; nutritious choice for dogs.

Buffalo

At Yourdog; we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy; fresh taste and rich colour and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories; this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

At Yourdog; we use duck; chicken and turkey which together provide a delicious taste and aroma to the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle development and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

To provide dogs with extra valuable nutrients; super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables are not only nutritious; but they also have other healthy properties. The crude fibre in vegetables is good for the intestines and can contribute to digestion; among other things.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruit to Yourdog; so that the dog receives all essential; natural antioxidants. Fruit can be good for the dog's immune system; but it can also contribute to fresh breath or maintaining healthy digestion. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants from Europe. The use of herbs; roots; flowers; plants and seaweed; among others; has its origins thousands of years ago. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body; such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food is carefully selected for its positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog; the breed or the breed group; ingredients are specifically highlighted. Breed-specific complaints can be reduced by using herbs; roots; flowers and plants.

Löwchen-specific vegetables; herbs and fruit

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Löwchen. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Löwchen belongs. From these studies; in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists; ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Löwchen.

Thyme

Thyme is a genus from the mint family. It includes herbaceous or woody plants with a very aromatic scent. Thyme was used by the Greeks and Romans as a medicinal herb against lung diseases; rheumatism; paralysis; stomach cramps; swellings; headaches; colic and nervous weaknesses.
