Blueberry

Blueberries belong to the heather family of plants and grow mainly in open forests in the Northern Hemisphere. The plant has been used for a long time in traditional European medicine and is known for its positive effects on gastrointestinal diseases and diabetes.

Blueberries can be added to our dog food because they are rich in antioxidants, which protect the body against free radicals. In addition, they contain good fibres for digestion and the berries are rich in vitamins C and K. It could support the immune system and contribute to the overall health of the dog.

Puppy, adult, or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever older than 7 years, we recommend the Senior variant. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Transition advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this for another two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After this, you can, at your discretion, start feeding 100% Yourdog Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog package, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the bin, but to place the entire bag, which you have re-sealed as well as possible, into the bin.
