Puppy, adult, or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Austrian Shorthaired Hound dog food varieties, you can use the following guidelines. If your Austrian Shorthaired Hound is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For an Austrian Shorthaired Hound older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog Austrian Shorthaired Hound senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Feeding Advice

Transition Advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important to let the dog get used to this for two or three days as well. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely transitioned to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After this, you can feed 100% Yourdog Austrian Shorthaired Hound dog food at your discretion.

Storage Advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to pour the food loosely into the bin, but to place the entire bag, which you should seal as tightly as possible, into the bin.
