Puppy, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Feeding Advice

Transition Advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we advise you to follow these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this for two or three days again. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog has now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After this, you can start feeding 100% Yourdog Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen dog food as you see fit.

Storage Advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the barrel, but to place it in the barrel with the entire bag, which you close as well as possible.
