Our ingredients

For the production of our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to process into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffaloes. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken, and turkey, which together provide a delicious taste and aroma to the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Pont Audemer Spaniel. Glucosamine

Glucosamine is an endogenous substance found in joints, cartilage, synovial fluid, and tendons. Glucosamine stimulates the production of cartilage and keeps joints supple.

Glucosamine is one of the most commonly used supplements for dogs with osteoarthritis and/or joint problems. This is not only the case for older dogs, or (overweight) dogs, but also increasingly for younger, very active dogs. For example, due to a genetic predisposition to joint problems. For these and other reasons, glucosamine is added to our dog food.

Banana

The banana plant grows in tropical areas where the temperature does not drop below 10 degrees Celsius. There is even evidence that the banana may have been cultivated in New Guinea about 7,000 years ago. The name is derived from the word "Obanaana" from the language of the Wolof people.

Bananas are rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, and B11 (folic acid) and the minerals potassium, magnesium, iron, and zinc. The natural antioxidant, vitamin C, can strengthen immunity. Vitamin B11, or folic acid, can support the immune system and contribute to a well-functioning nervous system. It can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Potassium can also help lower blood pressure in dogs with high blood pressure, and magnesium can help relax muscles and promote bone growth. In addition, bananas contain many good fibers and contribute to more good bacteria in the intestines.

Blueberry

Puppy, adult, or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Pont Audemer Spaniel dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Pont Audemer Spaniel is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Pont Audemer Spaniel older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Pont Audemer Spaniel Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Transition Advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another brand of food, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this for another two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely transitioned to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your own discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Pont Audemer Spaniel dog food.

Storage Advice

After opening the Yourdog package, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or container in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to pour the food loose into the container, but to place it in the container with the entire bag, which you then seal as tightly as possible.
