Our ingredients

To produce our feed, for a 12 kg bag, 10.6 kg of meat is dried, which makes it easier to process into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for dogs.

Buffalo

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Rafeiro do Alentejo. The redder a tomato is, the more lycopene it contains. In addition to giving a tomato its red color, it is also known as a powerful antioxidant. Puppy, adult, or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Rafeiro do Alentejo dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Rafeiro do Alentejo is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Rafeiro do Alentejo older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Rafeiro do Alentejo senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Feeding advice

Transition advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another feed brand, we advise you to follow these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After this, you can start feeding 100% Yourdog Rafeiro do Alentejo dog food at your discretion.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog package, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the bin but to place it in the bin with the entire bag, which you close as well as possible.
