Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, so that it can be better processed into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color, and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content, and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken, and turkey which together provide a delicious taste and aroma to the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle development and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

To provide dogs with extra valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables are added to our food. Thus, vegetables are not only nutritious, but also have other healthy properties. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, contribute to digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog, ensuring that the dog receives all essential, natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also contribute to fresh breath or maintaining healthy digestion. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, and seaweeds, among other things, dates back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food is carefully selected for its positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed, or the breed group, ingredients are given extra attention. Breed-specific complaints can be reduced by using herbs, roots, flowers, and plants.

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Samoyed. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Samoyed belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Samoyed.

Peppermint

Peppermint is a plant from the Lamiaceae family. It is the plant that led to the creation of peppermints. Peppermint originated from a cross between water mint and spearmint. The plant was found in England in the seventeenth century in a field of mint plants. The plant is cultivated in England, France, China, Japan, and in North and South America.
