At Yourdog, we use tomato at a culinary level, considering tomato as a vegetable.

Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories, and have a high soluble fiber content, which contributes to digestion. Tomatoes also contain lycopene, which gives them their red color. The redder a tomato is, the more lycopene it contains. Besides giving a tomato its red color, it is also known as a powerful antioxidant. Research has shown that lycopene can protect against cancer, among other things, and can help with cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, tomatoes contain many vitamins C, A, and B-complexes, which can contribute to healthy skin and an improved immune system.

Puppy, adult, or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Yourdog Serbian Tricolor Hound dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Serbian Tricolor Hound is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Serbian Tricolor Hound older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog Serbian Tricolor Hound Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Feeding Advice

Transition Advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another brand of food, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then, feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important to let the dog get used to this for another two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely transitioned to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your discretion, you can then feed 100% Yourdog Serbian Tricolor Hound dog food.

Storage Advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or container in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the container, but to place the entire bag, which you seal as well as possible, into the container.
