Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to process into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range, grass-fed buffaloes. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color, and it is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is brimming with health benefits.

Chicory

The tomato is part of the nightshade family and comes from the tomato plant, originally from Mesoamerica. Small varieties were cultivated in Mesoamerica by the Aztecs and Mayans. In 1893, it was decided in America that the fruit should be considered a vegetable.

At Yourdog, we use tomato at a culinary level, considering it a vegetable.

Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories, and have a high soluble fiber content, which aids digestion. Tomatoes also contain lycopene, to which they owe their red color. The redder a tomato is, the more lycopene it contains. In addition to giving tomatoes their red color, it is also known as a powerful antioxidant. Research has shown that lycopene can offer protection against cancer and can help with cardiovascular diseases, among other things. In addition, tomatoes contain a lot of vitamin C and vitamin A and B complexes, which can contribute to healthy skin and an improved immune system.

Puppy, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our West Siberian Laika dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your West Siberian Laika is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a West Siberian Laika older than 7 years, we recommend the . If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Transition advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this for two or three days again. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After your own discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog West Siberian Laika dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the bin, but to place it with the entire bag, which you close as well as possible, into the bin.
