De Boya BY-MM1 is een universele compacte Shotgun Richtmicrofoon, speciaal ontworpen om de geluidskwaliteit van video's te verbeteren. De microfoon heeft een compact formaat en is gemaakt van aluminium. De BY-MM1 werkt zonder batterij en wordt geleverd met een anti-shock mount om ongewenste trillingen te verminderen. Daarnaast is er een robuuste windkap inbegrepen om wind en buitengeluiden te minimaliseren bij buitenopnames.
