The FLIR Scion OTM366 is a high-end thermal imaging camera featuring a 640x480 BOSON detector (12µm/60hz), manual focus, and a magnification range of 1.3 to 10.4x. The OTM366 is specifically designed for long-range thermal observations. This makes it an extremely suitable accessory for numerous (semi-)professional applications.

The thermal camera offers three observation modes. You can use the standard Scouting Mode to observe as you are used to. A new feature is the Lock-Span Mode. This allows you to filter out unwanted temperatures that you don't want to see. Think of very cold or warm temperatures, or bright objects such as the sky and fire. This ensures that only objects you want to focus on are colored; filtered objects are displayed in black. The third mode is Picture-in-Picture. You use this option to zoom in further (2x) on a specific object in the image, without losing the rest of the field of view. Furthermore, the viewer has many indispensable functions such as GPS, inclinometer, Wi-Fi and much more.

Using six included batteries, you can use the FLIR Scion OTM366 for up to five hours. With the help of an optionally available rechargeable battery, you can use the thermal imaging camera for up to 10 hours. The viewer also has an auto-shutdown function. The device is IP67-certified, making it waterproof and shock-resistant.

Application

The OTM366 is the top model in the Scion OTM series. With this camera, you can easily detect hidden people and animals, even under extreme conditions such as complete darkness, fog, rain, snow, etc. With the help of the manual focus, you can always focus according to your preference. This makes it an indispensable tool for tactical applications - police, security, rescue services - but is also very suitable for nature researchers and any form of private use.

This thermal imaging camera falls under the Dual-Use regulation. For the (temporary) export of these goods to countries outside the European Union, a permit is required.
