De modules zijn geprogrammeerd voor latenties van 18-22-22-42 op 4000 MHz. De DDR4-modules uit de Ripjaws V-serie zijn ontwikkeld voor maximale compatibiliteit en prestaties met Intel-processoren. De Ripjaws V kan worden gebruikt met een breed scala aan CPU-koelers dankzij hun 42 mm hoogte. De huidige versie 2.0 van Intel's Memory Profile XMP wordt ondersteunt.
