Description
Stop pulling on the leash! The Gentle Leader® is a unique head halter recommended by many veterinarians and dog behaviorists.
This is a method to gently correct, train, and control your dog. You will see results within minutes.
Why choose the Gentle Leader®?
All dogs instinctively pull on a regular dog leash. The counter-pressure from the leash causes the dog to pull even more.
The Gentle Leader® prevents this behavior in 3 unique steps:
. The pressure from pulling on the leash is now redirected to the back of the neck. This relaxes the dog; this natural reaction is also created when a mother dog picks up a pup by the scruff of the neck.
. The slight pressure of the Gentle Leader® on the top of the muzzle triggers a reflex that immediately relaxes the dog.
. It is comparable to guiding a horse in the right direction with a halter (the body follows the nose).
Unlike other collars, the Gentle Leader® has:
. An adjustable clip that allows the strap to be perfectly fitted.
. A fit that prevents the strap from slipping off the head.
. A flexible construction that allows the dog to retain its freedom of movement to play, eat/drink, bark, etc.
. Very good quality.
